We are seeking a results-driven People & Talent Specialist with start-up energy, an analytical mindset, and a strong work ethic. As the People & Talent Specialist, you will support our employees across the Internal / Corporate business by providing HR guidance, whilst maintaining accountability of effective delivery of HR services.

Duties
Your daily adventures will include:
- Deliver against the People Strategy
- Leading/ supporting company initiatives
- Ensuring role out of strategic initiatives across the Internal team
- Deal with people queries
- Employment Equity forecasting and targets
- Link between recruitment, Journey Advocates and People & Talent Managers
- Onboarding (Ensuring all documentation, policies, procedures etc. are completed)
- Offboarding of staff (exit interviews)
- Updating of relevant systems
- Communication with relevant stakeholders
- Support Performance, evaluation tracking and monitoring of performance
- Drive talent management activities across the organization
- Identify, plan and monitor key talent programs
- Understand the internal team strategy and participate in establishing annual KPIs per grade level
- Provide regular guidance and education to staff on the performance management process.
- Provide performance analytics, including poor performance.
- Implement performance improvement interventions
- Monitor general compliance with performance management approach
- Liaise and collaborate for salary survey input and benchmarking information.
- Analyze and understand remuneration trends and challenges. Advise and provide input into remuneration bands and practices.
- Utilize analytics from exit interviews related to reward
- Educating staff on rewards and benefits
- Support HC Managers in the salary and performance bonus reviewsÃ
- Understand the firm's EE targets and translate this into tangible workforce planning. Understand where the gaps lie and implement HC interventions to close the gaps through recruitment; promotions etc
- HC representative in the firm-wide EE forum
- Engage with all internal stakeholders around annual progression processes
- Report retention successes and potential challenges
- End to end management and advice on IR matters, including incapacity, misconduct, and dispute resolution
Role Requirements:
- Degree in either Human Resources Management or Industrial & Organizational Psychology
- The successful incumbent must have at least 4 years Human Resources generalist experience within a medium to large corporate at HR BP level
- Professional Service and/or fintech industry experience is preferable
